Without hope life is not worth living. You gotta give ‘em hope. a very compelling and quietly emotional look at a gay politician who fought to help secure not only the rights of many gay people in this country, but their future as well. did not realize how much the film and harvey’s story had affected me until the final march sequence, just good stuff. on a side note: i always feel frustrated when i see how radical the community used to be. we’ve exchanged revolution for assimilation and “acceptance”. very troubling.
