This is a masterpiece! The colors, the humor, the characters, everything is on point. Easily one of the best stop-motion films ever made.

i woke up, felt like complete shit, and finally decided to watch this movie for the first time. needless to say this is now one of my favourite comfort movies. wes anderson brought on screen the feeling of being wrapped in a big, comfy blanket while sitting next to a fire place, sipping on a mug of hot cocoa and i thank him for that.

i underrated this previously. this movie blows me away. it’s so fun, so funny, visually beautiful, all the while even more impressive because it’s stop motion. ik this is wrong but , a stop motion animation is not supposed to be this good. everything about it combines so perfectly. the sound design of their little footsteps on all the different surfaces, the shot selection and variation, the detail in each of their clay faces somehow showing so much emotion. it’s all great. i forgot this was a book first. it’s all so perfectly wes anderson. what i love about him is that his style is so clear, so strong - even across mediums. grand budapest hotel is just as wes anderson as this animated fox film. stupendous! superb! fantastic! george clooney is a perfect mr fox.

oceans eleven but danny is a fox, i think this is where clooney went after he “died” before oceans 8. the animals r so cute :) who says a movie has to have (much) camera movement to be good. it’s crazy how this is like claymation but feels just like Grand Budapest.

Pretty good, I feel this was made for nerds. Seen it before when I was a kid and i liked it then aswell. The art style and animation are both amazing, I just prefer some of Wes Anderson’s other films. Voice acting is also very good.
