O filme é bom pra caramba, a atuação da Naomi Scott foi totalmente incrível e o enredo que criaram que uma diva pop foi amaldiçoada por uma maldição é simplesmente perfeito, a trilha sonora que criaram para personagem da Skye é simplesmente boa demais, lembro de ouvir várias vezes no replay "New brain", O filme não superou claramente clássicos do terror mas a ideia principal que quiseram dar, dá conexão do primeiro filme com o segundo foi muito boa, eu recomendaria muito esse filme. Só que pra quem tem medo de criatura do filme(como eu fiquei) feche os olhos.

This one’s such a step up. The visuals, directing, and sound are all on point, and Naomi Scott just kills it with her acting. It’s got so many eerie moments—way scarier than the first. Loved it, definitely a favorite horror movie for me this year. 2024: Ranked (https://boxd.it/sDDDC)

until now i still dont know which are hallucinations and which are not, like they fucked my brain hard holy shit. this is incredible though, definitely so much better than the first one. my girl skye was going through hell, literally going from hallucination to hallucination but she was so strong trying to fight it off and i was honestly rooting so bad for her. my girl deserves better fr but skye riley you are final girl TO ME!

honestly did not expect it to be this good i was properly uncomfortable and on edge for a good bit of this movie, and didn’t really know where it was going. i like the whole unreliable pov thing where you also can’t tell what’s real. i’ll say that right up until the start of the final scene i couldn’t get what was coming next. that being said as soon as she came out on stage i clocked the ending. and i’m not mad, cuz it took me til then. sets up a crazy third movie. phl to lax

Better than the original and a great performance by Naomi Scott make for a thrilling time. I was doing well with the jumps until the hospital scene which completely got me, was definitely worth watching though and I hope to rewatch this to see when the reality stops being a reality.

What in the absolute insanity did I just watch. Its been a while since I couldn't believe what I was seeing in a film. I audibly gasped so many times. Smile 2 takes everything I liked about the first and increases it to the max. It answers all the questions I have as well. The plot this time I found way more enjoyable. Seeing it from a popstars pov was interesting. Unlike the first this had me questioning every scene. There was so many twists and turns I honestly couldn't believe it. Its crazy how like half of the movie technically didn't happen. The horror aspects and atmosphere was insanely creepy. I'm not usually one to get scared by horror films but this was definitely chilling. The cast is phenomenal. Naomi Scott is amazing. She brings so much to this movie. I feel like I was more immersed from her performance alone. It made me care more about everything. Now the gore was insane. I thought the first was crazy, but this was chaos.It looked insane. I really love how both of these films keep the eerie horror with the gore. It makes everything a lot more shocking. The characters were very enjoyable as well. This was such a freaky and insane experience. Definitely one of the best horror movies I've seen in the past 2 years. Just an insane experience. Edit: this is the 300th horror film I've watched. 🎉
