Imaginary
Nothing special for I would say someone who has watched a lot of horrors and watched some really bad ones but also some really gripping and amazing ones, this one doesn’t strike me as particularly bad or amazing.
Imaginary
Yep this is bad
Imaginary
I liked the bear-monster look and was almost impressed at the random attempt at a lore-dump over halfway in. I debated for way longer than I should have about whether that was enough to bump this up to 2 stars or keep it at 1 With Wadlow's last Blumhouse film I was at least able to forgive Blumhouse the following week because they had Invisible Man (which was incredible). Wolf Man's not for another 7 months; you're on my shitlist till at least then edit: lol they immediately delayed Wolf Man another 3 months after I posted this. fuck you Blumhouse

Great movie, if you like fantasy and horror this movie was for you. I don't wanna have imaginary friend anymore
Imaginary
i hate the angsty teenager hates their step parent trope when the step parent is actually a good person. very annoying. anyway... though this movie is not good, its also not complete garbage, at most its lackluster. i mean the 1.8 rating is a bit low. it should be at least 2.2 it had some decent creepy moments and some attempts at being creepy and that i will always give credit for no matter how bad a movie is. the monsters were decently creepy. chauncy actually being imaginary is a good plot twist there is a good movie buried beneath all the lackluster...ness. the writing/story/acting could have been better.
Imaginary
This movie was pretty goofy but still fun either way. A couple of quick jumpscares (nothing affecting for me personally).
Imaginary
He's not imaginary. And he's not your friend.

I didn’t hate this! I genuinely thought that this was going to be as bad as the other Blumhouse release we got earlier this year, Night Swim, which ended up growing even more stale, for me, as time has passed. And, to my surprise, this was a genuinely fun film, even if it lacks any powerful punches in the scare department. As much as it sounds like a read, this is a Blumhouse production, so you essentially know what you’re in store for, and this delivered everything that this production house is known for when it comes to horror releases. I think the biggest thing about this film that sets it apart is the fact that the characters genuinely feel like real people. These characters are layered and emotional, which you really don’t see a lot of within these types of horror films. The creature design is fun, even if we only get a few minutes of screentime with it. Naturally, there are many moments that make you chuckle and roll your eyes (surprisingly, many of them being the very blatant product placement), but it also adds a bit of charm that makes for a decently fun watch. No, this isn’t the scariest film ever created, but it does a good job at creating well-rounded characters and making a very entertaining experience. Imaginary may be the sleeper Blumhouse hit of the year, only time will tell if it’s the best we’ll get from them in 2024.

this is a film only blumhouse could make and that’s not a good thing
