I firmly believe that 2000-2010 Will Ferrell is the best thing to ever happen to the world of comedy. On a side note, I can’t tell if Ellen Pompeo is a bad actress or her character was just horribly written because wow. I’m inclined to go with the latter.
Old School
Old School's pitch went a bit like this: "So we have these old guys - not too old, let's say mid thirties - who because of some stupid reason, create a fraternity. That's it. Oh and hopefully we'll get Will Ferrell." And yes, with the exception of Will Ferrell, Old School is all that and no substance, chiefly thanks to the film being an excuse to get older guys in a frat to see what happens. But Ferrell is a killer. GRADE: C
