The start of Christopher Nolans great career. This noir film is simple, short and low budget, however it’s very still entertaining. The story is great and the twist unexpected. With a bigger budget this could’ve been amazing. Still, it’s well worth a watch.

Watched this just to see where Nolan started. Should've known it would already be confusing and brilliant at the same time. Three timelines, black and white, and a story that confusing all in his very first film. You could already see exactly what he was going to become. The B&W adds another layer of boredom on top of the slow moments but if you pay attention it rewards you. Decent first step for a budget of 6000$ from someone who was never going to make a simple movie.

A fairly solid film; it's not Nolan's best work, but for his early work, we can see the foundations of what he would become in the future and where his cinema would take us.

Nolan’s first film ufff ofc your expectations will be high and I gotta say when it ends you’ll be satisfied. A sharp little noir that proves you don’t need a big budget to tell a clever story. The plot is simple but it’s told in a non linear way that keeps you hooked. The ending is amazing. Probably one of the best debut films by a director.

nunca me enganché suficiente con la historia y los 70 minutos que dura se sintieron demasiado largos, en general no me gustó pero destacaría la manera en la que conecta el final con el principio

Como si de un ejercicio escolar sobre estructuras narrativas se tratara, Following es el debut de Christopher Nolan trabajando una simple, pero entrucada historia donde las formas en las que se cuenta parecen ser el mayor atractivo de una tensionante trama que revisita el cine negro vanguardista. De aquí que Nolan sea un experto a nivel técnico de como contar historias donde el tiempo y su narración parece ser tableros de puzle que se van armando por partes y no siempre en el orden cronológico consecutivo.
