Wow, just wow. It’s like they decided to throw logic out the window and embrace pure trash. The first half had me hooked, all intense and uncomfortable, but then it spiraled into absurdity. Got an immediate "Leave the World Behind" vibes w/ the camerawork & suspense, but this being relatively worse in comparison. Acting is mid at best & plot is... something. Also, fire the mf that came up with that title. It's like if A24 produced a netflix movie on a low budget.

Wealth, lust, greed, these are frivolous hobbies of frivolous people. Their weaknesses.❞ 𐄁──── ↶*ೃ✧˚. ❃ ↷ ˊ- ────𐄁 Shaitaan started off good and ended up devolving into convoluted madness. I watched it because Madhavan is a great actor, but even he couldn't save this. In my opinion, the plot would've been much better if it remained a psychological thriller, rather than trying to delve into supernatural horror, because the film became laughable after that part of the story was introduced. Ajay Devgn and Jyothika gave decent performances, but the kids were genuinely some of the most irritating on-screen children I've ever seen. I don't think I'll be watching this again any time soon.
