Diary entries forThe Lost Bus
The Lost Bus
I was sweating like I was on that bus too.
The Lost Bus
A very tense natural disaster movie, especially since it's based on a true story. Thank you to Kevin and Mary (and the kids) for trying and surviving the fire from inside a metal bus. I can't imagine being them, that must be so hot and exhausting, i even can't breath seeing it, also it would have been a cool and traumatic experience for them.

The Lost Bus
There's a genuinely great film buried in here somewhere. A compelling story with what I assume were strong performances. Unfortunately, it's completely sabotaged by a baffling and aggressive directorial style. The relentless shaky-cam isn't an artistic choice; it's a one-way ticket to a pounding headache. It's a real shame when a good movie is made physically difficult, and downright unpleasant, to watch.
The Lost Bus
whew the acting was reaaally good, and a girlie was extremely stressed out
The Lost Bus
Didn’t expect this to hit that hard. The tension is unreal and every second feels like it could be the last. Paul Greengrass absolutely nails the chaos and fear. Matthew McConaughey as always delivers one of his best performances raw, grounded and completely believable. It’s impossible not to tear up watching him break down on screen. The choices his character faces are brutal and heartbreaking. America Ferrera is incredible too. She brings so much warmth and quiet strength to her role. The emotion, direction and realism make it worth every minute. Overall, it’s one of those films that stays with you long after it’s over so you gotta experience this.
The Lost Bus
That was such an intense experience!!
The Lost Bus
i got way too emotionally invested in this. like, yass miss mary and kevin you save those kids!!
The Lost Bus
There’s just something especially riveting about true-story disaster films, a genre that Greengrass and Peter Berg have both (somewhat) mastered. Although the sheer quantity and overall quality of stellar VFX shots make the film agreeably worthy of its Oscar nom, I do think there are too many weak moments to make this a clear winner. Props to everyone behind this film tho, I’m incredibly impressed with what they were able to pull off.

Please Academy committee, I need this nomination. My movie's kinda homeless
