interstellar (2014)
interstellar é o tipo de filme que começa como uma missão espacial e termina sendo algo muito mais emocional do que você espera. ele até fala de ciência, tempo e universo, mas no fundo é sobre conexão humana e o que a gente faz por quem ama. a história se passa em um futuro sufocante, onde a terra já não sustenta mais a vida como antes. isso cria um senso de urgência real, não é só exploração por curiosidade, é sobrevivência. e quando a viagem começa, o filme abre uma escala absurda, com planetas estranhos, tempo distorcido e decisões que têm peso gigantesco. o conceito de Relatividade aparece de um jeito muito forte, principalmente na forma como o tempo passa diferente dependendo de onde você está. isso não fica só na teoria, ele usa isso pra te fazer sentir o impacto emocional de cada escolha. a relação entre pai e filha é o centro de tudo. mesmo com toda a grandiosidade do espaço, o que mais pesa são os momentos pequenos, as mensagens, a distância que não é só física. tem uma carga emocional que cresce aos poucos e explode nos momentos certos. visualmente, é absurdo. o espaço não é só bonito, é silencioso, frio e até assustador. tudo parece gigante demais pra gente, e isso reforça a sensação de solidão. no fim, interstellar fala sobre tempo, sacrifício e amor de um jeito que mistura ciência com sentimento sem parecer forçado. é daqueles filmes que te deixam pensando depois, não só sobre o universo, mas sobre as pessoas que importam pra você.

The seas are toxic. The lands are drying up. The crops are failing. The air is getting harder and harder to breathe. Humanity has already plunged into damnation. A future that is built entirely on hope and uncertainty is all to hold onto. “Once you're a parent, you're the ghost of your children's future.” A mission to another galaxy. To another time. A wormhole placed by something far greater than man. Another chance at life. “They didn’t bring us here at all. We brought ourselves.” A system in orbit around both a star and a supermassive black hole. Gargantua. Could a place such as this truly be humanity’s future? Or merely a single step on a fate far beyond any of their comprehension. “Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends time and space.” What can man hold on to in the face of Gargantua but love. Love, love, love. A love that transcends space. A love that transcends time itself, echoing through eternity, saving the only species capable of it. Humanity’s home now in space stations in the stars, moving outwards, moving forward, always moving. The legacy of the brave members of the Lazarus mission. And somewhere out there, millions and millions of miles away, Dr. Amelia Brand is alone with a seed of humanity she believes might be the only way forward. A colony all alone in another galaxy. The longer I think about Interstellar, the more I love it. That final act is sublime perfection. Gorgeous, absolutely and insanely gorgeous photography, with a score that does stand the test of time. ‘Cornfield Chase’ alone is such a beautiful piece. I want more. “I love you, forever. You hear me? I love you forever. And I’m coming back.”
