They All Laughed

been on the watchlist for ages simply just to watch audrey hepburn, but since she’s barely in it i was drawn to its odd timelessness. feels out of place as an 80s release, and reminds me of a demy version of easy rider. at the same time it’s quintessential new york and almost makes me feel like after hours took inspiration — one of the most 80s movies out there. just fascinating to think about and i think ill need a rewatch (maybe after more PB movies?) to fully appreciate it
