this was a film that i put off for years because i’ve heard of how sad it was. i watched it for the first time today and i cried so much i should’ve been embarrassed but i wasn’t. this film was sad but it was one of the most beautiful films I’d ever seen! (off topic but i loved Shelly DeVoto’s fashion throughout the entire film)
