Saw: The Final Chapter or 3D is messy, mean, and completely committed to the bit. By this point the games aren’t about learning anything — they’re about consequences finally circling back. The traps are crueler, the tone colder, and everything feels like it’s been building toward this inevitable end. Finishing the franchise feels surreal. Seven films of pain, twists, and slammed doors, all leading here. And somehow, it ends exactly the way it should.

The return of Dr. Gordon and the fucking rampage my man Costas goes on in the last 15 minutes were enough for me to love this when I first saw it and still appreciate it a lot rewatching this. But stuff like the bad opening (and especially shit like the guy being tested screaming at a woman who just died that all she needed to do was shut the fuck up) did not hold up as entertaining if it ever was, the 3D sucked then and sucks now, and this being the first film Shawnee didn't even have a flashback cameo in hurts :[ #JusticeForAmanda

WAY BETTER than Saw 6. Similar concept in focusing on a singular person while have two plots running simultaneously. But done way more tastefully. The traps are some of the most brutal I’ve seen. But I fear the concept as a whole is becoming less and less believable, which is making me less interested. Almost like it’s a caricature of itself. There’s only so many twists you can put in one franchise. I squealed and cringed hard in this one (mostly in a good way). The blood seemed fake though. As a whole, it got better over the runtime of the film because the first 10 mins had some of the most horrendous acting I’ve seen in a while.

- 3D is soooo cringe its so bad - Blood is pink I think cause of the 3D ? - Hoff is still such a bad ass - R.I.P Chester - GIBSON IS SO BAD AT ACTING - Best part of this whole thing John Kramer with the backwards cap - BRO THE HOFF IN THE BODY BAG JUST SMOKING EVERYONE - They can’t do that to the HOFF I don’t believe it i want an alternate ending. - And I want a saw cut of just the Hoff without cutting to all the nobodies.

This had absolutely no connection to the rest until the last 30 mins or so but I'm not complaining because that ending literally made me wonder what in the world just happened

well that was not very good. looked cheap, lots of bad effects and weird sexualization of women. i mean the ending was okay it just made no sense but nice to see the bathroom again.

I think people hate on this movie TOO much like its camp as hell honestly especially Gibson the way he talks and acts in the movie it was so funny the part where they were in the glass box was so random honestly idek what to think of it but it was so funny when the girl was outside recording it on her flip phone like😭 IDK WHY THE BLOOD IS PINK IN THIS MOVIE THO?? The signing part with john was actually so random that it was camp as hell esp him wearing the backwards cap like omg hes so funny i love u john Honestly i thought it was an interesting concept of someone lying about being in a jigsaw trap for fame and attention so i thought it was cool that he was put into an actually trap for that. BUT HIS WIFE DIDNT DO ANYTHING SHE DIDNT DESERVE TO DIE OMGGG SHE DIDNT EVEN KNOW HE LIED LIKE OMGGG?? but omg i cannot believe that Hoffman killed jill like?? JOHN WOULD LITERALLY HATE YOU what was he even thinking like get a life its acc sick what he did BUT THE BEST PART OF THE WHOLE MOVIE WAS HOFFMAN DYING!! (ik its not confirmed idc hes dead to me anyway) LIKE AND THE FACT IT WAS LAWRENCE WHO DID IT TOO. i got spoiled too that Lawrence was involved so i wasn't surprised again sadly
