i keep thinking about dominique fishback's performance in swarm (2023), and clips i revisit of nicole beharie, and i realized that there is not only something special about seeing black actresses work, but seeing black actresses work well .
horror clicked for me in 2010, when i initially went to see darren aronofsky's black swan (2010) during its theater release. it captivated me, and made me realize i was more into psychological horror than the gore of slashers--that also really creative commentaries can be made, and cool narratives told.

My top Blumhouse movies ranked from best to worst
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🧡
My personal favorite horror films of all time.
