Wow, Captain Marvel interquel was riveting. Maybe this isn't the best of the indie movies, but i will not calling this an unispired movie, because it have a plenty of charm. Cutie lil' Brie have potential in the direction. Sam Jackson perfomance was whimsical as hell. So... i enjoyed it.

Tapping into childhood nostalgia, Unicorn Store transports viewers into the world of a woman who simply wants what she's always dreamed of - to own a unicorn. This may seem like a childish premise, but actually works to create a cute story with a lot of heart. That's one thing that this film has going for it - it has a lot of heart and genuinely cares to tell a new story. It may not be the most revolutionary film out there, but it's still a unique and different take on adulthood, showing that you really never do have to grow up and abandon what you wanted to do as a child. It's a fun film, and I'm very fine with that.

El debut de la actriz Brie Larson como cineasta es un pequeño tropiezo en este nuevo rumbo profesional. Con una historia infantil pero que deja un mensaje acerca de los sueños y nuestras metas en la vida en la que Samuel L. Jackson llega a salvar con su talento haciendo un dúo interesante con la ganadora del Oscar a mejor actriz.

The most grownup thing you can do is fail at things you care about." The beginning of this is just a little off - kit, at times, walks around with a cold, blank stare that is reminiscent of a stereotypical psychopath in films. (No way a dig at the immense acting talent that brie Larson has!) It takes Unicorn Store a while to find its footing, just like the main character, but once it does, it is a great mix of pure joy & whimsy, and a relatable, comforting story. It captures in it's own specific way, the universal feelings of being lost, and thinking of oneself as a disappointment/failure, in those weird transitional/formative years of life. A nice directorial debut.

La infancia reprimida de Brie Larson es sacada a flote en un juego infantil bastante excéntrico, un intento bastante fallido de Larson deja muy mal parqueado su primer intento en la silla de directora.
