I went back and forth in my head on whether to give this 2 or 3 stars, but ultimately landed right in the middle. There are some genuinely funny moments in this movie, but it certainly feels like this is a movie that will ultimately be remembered for its endless amount of multiverse winking cameos and not for the thin story it was trying to tell.

It’s basically fanservice heaven! Right from the start, the opening scene grabbed me and promised a fun ride. Deadpool's crazy antics were hysterical, making every moment enjoyable. Wolverine jumping in made the adventure even more intense and hilarious. Hugh Jackman's charisma as Wolverine is unbeatable. The story itself is just alright, but the action scenes and choreography are top-notch. The villain, Cassandra Nova, had so much potential, but they could have done more with her character because she's super OP. There are some great surprises that Marvel fans will love. Definitely recommend watching this one ASAP. It’s a lot more fun experiencing it without knowing all the surprises and jokes. 2024: Ranked (https://boxd.it/sDDDC)

enjoyable. meta as deadpool is, only felt just a smidge too fan servicey. the cameos were mostly solid and rather unexpected. channing tatum was comical

Don’t get me wrong, this is one of the cringiest, most boomer movie I’ve ever seen. It’s almost like a teenaged boy or old man’s dream film. I’m neither of those and for the first hour or so I didn’t enjoy it at all. However, it does have its good moments. Wolverine offers a nice break to Deadpools constant jokes, and I enjoyed his character more than any other. Didn’t care for the endless cameos, feel like we’ve overdosed on them by this point. The final scene was pretty enjoyable and Madonna is always great to hear. The music was also pretty good. So, for as cringe as this is, I did still enjoy it.
