In theory, this was a great idea. The Resistance fighting for a future in 2018, after Judgement Day was unable to be stopped. John Connor and Kyle Reese, teaming up as father and son. It’s an a idea I’d like to see revisited with this franchise. But in Salvation, unfortunatelyit just wasn’t executed properly. It’s a mess. It’s a shame too, because now we’re stuck with movies still starring the original Terminator model (Arnold) in the past trying to prevent JD. Which...seems redundant. Very that.
