The Conversation
Completely understand why people love this and the whole appeal, just didn’t really work for me. Thought the film was fine, sure it’s an interesting concept and the moral question is interesting, I just didn’t feel anything while watching. Like other reviews have said, I literally didn’t change my emotions once during the entire thing, which was the biggest led down for me. Not bad, just not something I’ll ever come back to.

While BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA might be my personal favorite Coppola, I now firmly believe THE CONVERSATION is his best film. Also, has ANYdirector had a better decade than Coppola in the 70s? Spielberg in the 90s is about the closest I think anyone has come, and even then, FFC still wins by a mile.
