What a fool I would have been to have waited to watch this like I had originally planned. The Prom has an all-star cast with all-star songs and a plot that pulls the heartstrings. It’s a shame that I hadn’t listened to this earlier, since I really enjoyed the songs and the plot really resonated with me. It’s a show that has a lot of heart, which translated perfectly over to the screen. They did a great job casting this film (though James Corden 100% should have been recast, his performance was fine, but we honestly need a queer person to play a queer character in a queer show, it shouldn’t be that hard to find someone who is LGBT to be in a musical), which created a fantastic chemistry that gave the film a lot of charm. I honestly cannot wait to continue to listen to this show even more(and it will be the Broadway version, gotta give props to the original!) and I can easily see this film being added to my comfort film

Ni el talento en el casting genera confianza en un triste argumento que llega en un momento poco acorde para mostrarse victimizado, no se disfruta de las películas que toman como “bobos” al público y el baile es todo eso mezclado con Meryl Streep y Nicole Kidman poniéndole ganas a un proyecto sin un camino exitoso.
