Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

The cameos were surprising for sure. The first half hour was meh But then it intrigued me a bit. But still a shitty ending. They tried to make something, congrats to them.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

It’s alright and fun but the first one is better. Also the 40 minute flash back was stupid

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

i think this is gonna be an unpopular opinion but for some reason i liked this one better than the first one like the story building is fucking incredible and so perfect. and my god i love it when women walks away from the place they completely destroyed while its on fire on the background and completely ruining a man’s life. GIVE JANELLE MONÁE ALL THE AWARDS HOLY SHIT.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

took me a while to get hooked to the story but the mystery was very good. janelle monáe and kate hudson stole the show for me. hugh grant and daniel craig as husbands is everything to me. madelyn cline's acting was meh, i still don't get the hype for her.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

first legit movie i’ve seen with references to covid - and it handled it in a fun, partially meaningful way. nearly as good as the first, and benefitted from more benoit blanc. somewhat followed the formula of the first, but that’s what makes them both good. fun mystery, tho the original felt just a tad bit more clever - wasn’t as much or at least the same feeling of “oh wow i shoulda realized that”, but maybe I need to watch it again or something.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

Wow, this is a lot of fun. Very funny, entertaining and clever, Glass Onion is a worthy sequel to one of my favourite films of 2019. Although this isn’t quite as good as its predecessor, there is still a lot to love and i look forward to a rewatch. A stellar cast leads to lots of on screen chemistry and everyone is fantastic. Edward Norton steals the show for me, his villain is great and Janelle Monáe is brilliant. Loved the explosive ending, watching his fortune go up in flames and all his ‘friends’ betray him was very satisfying. What a film.
