The Guard
It’s a tad uneven but overall solid, great cast. Very different from Calvary so there is really no point in comparing the two. I was surprised at how comedic this was. The ending was great, even if a bit confusing at first. It does end a little suddenly which might be unsatisfying to some but I personally didn’t mind it. Biggest complaint I have is the runtime honestly. I feel like it could’ve easily been an extra 30 minutes and not overstay its welcome. Would’ve been nice to flesh things out just a little more. 7.5/10
