Timothy Dalton might be the most camp Bond, but his quirkiness really works in this one. Kara is the first Bond girl to have such a key role in the story and she does well. The technology from Q is amazing and the puns from Bond are brilliant.

With the change-up in lead and tone, this almost feels like a real movie at times! Timothy Dalton is a beauty, and his professional, motivated Bond slow-releasing the potential for actual emotion feels like we're veering that much closer to the Craigs. Too bad the story just.. drags.... along.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤThe Living Daylights ˚ ˖࣪ 4 🌟 "Pay attention, 007" ㅤEm comemoração ao aniversário de Timothy Dalton, venho rever e fazer minha breve review sobre "The Living Daylights". ㅤTalvez esse seja meu filme favorito de James Bond, simplesmente adoro tudo: a trilha sonora, o jogo de câmeras, as cores, as lutas, as atuações, a abertura (que ganha pontos pois tenho uma memória afetiva) e toda a vibe dos anos 80 que o filme passa, além do inegável charme do Dalton como Bond. ㅤPor um bom tempo tive um apego pelo personagem em si e a franquia, então sei que em questão de história se comparada a outros filmes esse não é o melhor mas só pelo entretenimento que ele me trás já faz o filme subir vários números no ranking.

i was trying to watch this on actual blu-ray since it’s one of my favorite bonds but that didn’t happen. chose to watch it today as a quasi-comfort film because i can actually leave my abusive situation now and i didn’t want to watch something new with the stress of that on my mind
