After hearing this movie referenced numerous times in rap songs throughout the 90s and 00s, and not to mention the recent memes that have spawned from it, I figured I might need to finally watch this to see what it was all about. Oh, and it also happens to be considered one of the greatest gangster movies ever made. And yeah, it's good. Really good. Robert De Niro really was on a generational run during this era. It's super slick, never drags, and performances are top notch across the board.

I liked it and am really glad I got around to watching it. That being said the last 30ish minutes weren’t all that great in my mind and I won’t be rewatching it’s whole lot.
