Chernobyl: Zone of Exclusion

A masterclass in every sense of the word, Craig Mazin has written one of the most raw, cold, unnerving shows i have ever seen. Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgard and Emily Watson give some of the strongest performances of the year, the cinematography is great, it captures that sense of dread and hopelessness that surrounds this tragic event, there is one scene specifically that is shot kind of like an action sequence, all in one take, and its just some men throwing rocks from a rooftop, but you KNOW why they're doing it, and what's at stake, and what little time they have to do this, and it got my heart racing, it was superb. I could look for negatives but that would be me nitpicking, this is easily one of the best miniseries that HBO has produced and i cant wait to see what Craig Mazin does next.
