In Bruges
Many years ago a roommate of mine told me I should watch this. It's something that I have had in the back of my mind. I'm going to say that was about 7 years ago. Why I haven't watched this movie sooner than now, I don't know, because holy fuck. This movie is a masterpiece. It is one of those films that, with every line of dialogue that you hear, you can already tell that this will be a classic for years to come. I don't think that I have ever liked Colin Farrell as much as I did in this movie. He gives it his all. Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes also knock it out of the park. It will be the movie that I recommend to my friends from now on.

Funny and well written, everything about this just seems to work. The story takes very dark themes and makes light of them in a way few films manage to do as well. Both leads are great and overall I really enjoyed this.

Extremely stylized direction with so much humor where I may have been a bit loud on the plane. Love the acting the atmosphere the score and the themes and ideology that come about with these characters

Darky comedic in all the right ways, In Bruges is a fantastic directorial debut for Martin McDonagh. The balance in writing and acting is what makes this film so effective. Gleeson and Farrell bounce off of each other brilliantly, with Gleeson and Fiennes having some of the most foul and witty clapbacks I've heard in a long time. In Bruges is a film that has taken multiple watches to finally sit through, but this watch definitely was worth it, as it gives a sense as to what to expect from McDonagh, as well as showing that Farrell does have some strengths in acting if the writing is good enough. Altogether, In Bruges is one of the darkest comedies I've seen, but it manages to do it in a way that makes the film not only enjoyable, but memorable as well.

69/100 Came for the memes, stayed for the bromance. And what are these unfiltered conversations lmao. Totally random shit that just clicks and is fun to hear and the delivery by the three of em is fucking hilarious. Also, you’re an inanimate fucking object!
