josh o'connor double feature 1/2 waiting to watch this movie for the first time in theatres was so so so worth it. what a beautiful, magnificent movie. a great tale of grief and living in the past affecting the present. although i will say, as an art history student, i was more focused on the art and grave robbing part of the story, but the rest was so well incorporated in the story that i was captivated the entire time. i really loved the colour palette of the movie, the setting, the cinematography, the camera work (loved the scenes where they'd be running and the scene was sped-up, really reminiscent of old silent movies) and the score. it was a bit too long for my liking, but other than that, 10s across the board. will be rewatching this with my italian boyfriend <3

"You're not made for human eyes." this movie looks crispy, so beautiful. Kind of a huge reminder that the best film trope is beautifully tailored suits gets dirty in 2 hours.

not feeling too peachy so i don’t have the capacity to write good reviews now. a bit long but a very well done movie. all the supporting cast really help elevate the movie with their characters.
