This is now the 4th movie I've seen this year that would fall into the "erotic thriller" genre, and I gotta say, it is rapidly becoming one of my favorite type of movie. I had heard about this before, but only knowing that this is the first movie that the Wachowskis had directed. Being a fan of their other films, I wanted to give it a shot. It might not be a science fiction movie, like they are normally known for, but it is clear from the way that it is written that this is a Wachowski movie.

Aight, hands up guys... this is the hottest lesbian film I've ever watched, trust me! The tension between Violet and Corky was—holy moly—unbearable. I had to pause several times just to catch my breath lol 😭. The story is interesting too—it reminded me of The Handmaiden (I watched this before Bound). Two women scamming a pathetic guy is honestly one of my favorite lesbian tropes.
