Always be talkin' shit! Whole cast throwing laser-guided fits and pissing diamonds to the back row, it's real primo shitbag central crafted by apparently one real primo shitbag. A kind of rapturous rendering of where all that posturing, hemorrhaging, capitalist energy had ended up (now kiss!) Really did miss all those years ago just how badly Jonathan Pryce character wanted to be bedded down by Roma. Also anyone else get the feel Jack Lemmon and Bryan Cranston are kindred spirits in their craft?

I don’t really get the hype beyond the star-studded cast. This is a very dialogue-heavy film, not much visual stimuli, set primarily in one location with an ensemble cast - essentially an OG Reservoir Dogs. While a bunch of salesmen cursing each other out didn’t exactly hold my interest, I would happily have watched this as a stage play. Despite having a plot, it lacked the essence of a film, though it had great acting.

“A-B-C. A... Always, B... Be, C... Closing. Always be closing. ALWAYS BE CLOSING!” I don't know what to say...other than I fucking enjoyed this film. Like, thoroughly enjoyed it. I know nothing about real estate sales, but I do know a thing or two about the way in pitching the sales (to say the least). I guess an advertising student like myself does have a perk or two in these kinds of knowledge at times. Other than that; I laughed, I gagged, and I really enjoyed it very much. And yes, Ricky Roma may be a dick, but he is sassy and a diva I never knew I'd loved until now. Also calling Williamson a cunt is so satisfying, so good for you king!
