I Am Dragon

“You’re afraid of dragons, but you play with them.” Generally harmless, albeit quite uninspired, I Am Dragonseems to be thematically closer to that of Beauty and the Beast than the Twilightfilms. The film is very much still a hardcore YA film, which is pretty much a big reason I didn’t really care for it. I will say it has some interesting aspects in regard to its lore (I like the island made up entirely out of the bones of a massive dragon), and some visuals I found to be kind of cool. Tonally, I feel like I Am Dragonshould be darker and the pacing is super weird at places. I’ve been super busy with life stuff to sit down to watch the Collab films for some weeks and I think it’s funny this is the one I come back to. Watched for the Collab (https://boxd.it/bciZ6)
