The Black Cauldron

The Black Cauldronhas made a bit of a name for itself, renowned for being one of Disney’s darker films. To my surprise, it really was a dark tale, with a villain that is nothing short of petrifying. This came out during the early years of Disney’s “golden era” of animation, so it’s a surprise that it doesn’t get as much positive attention as some other films released during the same period. It’s a gorgeously animated film, with a unique blend of characters, which fit perfectly into the fantasy realm they created. I honestly can’t wait to give this another watch, since I truly had such a good time with it.
