John Carney's back at his music meets love stance once again and all the while lovely to watch, it's a little disheartening if you've seen 2006's, Once. So don't expect much from the songs, they're not exceptionally memorable or interesting. If that doesn't worry you, it's smooth sailing from there. Behind the music is laughter, a fantastic Mark Ruffalo, and chemistry that indeed works.
