The Scarecrow

This short film is only 10 minutes and it feels like a mixed bag. Here's what I liked - the color grading is damn perfect and gives the film a unique look. The music fits with the short and makes the viewer un-easy (as horror should). The editing is also damn good and the flow of the film is wonderful. However, the later half feels a bit messy and having dialouge after 8 minutes of just music, makes that un-easy feeling leave. This short would have felt better had it more time than just 10 minutes. I feel it's short run time leaves the viewer wanting more (and not in a good way). With only 10 minutes, there isn't much to latch on to. That being said, the film still works great and is very unique for horror in 2019
