actually soooo fun, i love the part where we saw some of his past nemesis jamming to everybody wants to rule the world at the end

Honestly, I think Gru and Maxime would be a great duo. Also, the ending scene was so... π₯Ή All the villains from the previous movies were singing and dancing together, and I couldn't help but get distracted by the power couple, Scarlet and Herb... AWWW my parents π

This might be the most visually striking, essay-like short I've seen in a long time. It's mostly black and white, with an almost amorphous baghead-like standing in for the main character. This dominant style is punctuated by very brief color drawing in various (mostly anime-inspired) styles. The expressive flow of styles, at times in the same frame, makes for an interesting watch and fits the themes of the short very well.
