oh this is a little too gooooddd, the way this was shot with just using cameras from different gadgets??? im so obsessed. they did the same format for that one episode and modern family and that has always been one of my favorite episodes and seeing the same format to be used here is so incredible. the twist and turns in this movie is so goooddd like just when you know you finally caught up with whatโ€™s happening they will throw in another twist i love it so much. this is what real cinema looks like!!! also that jasmin savoy brown cameo hellooooo??!??

i expected this movie to be terrible, based off how corny the marketing was. it took a little bit to get used to the format, but once i did it was a pretty cool watch. really unique, and loved all the attention to detail. the format especially, as well as the creativity really made this feel realistic, in the world we live in now. i was worried that i wouldnโ€™t enjoy this given I had the โ€œlive photoโ€ twist spoiled for me, but when i saw it pretty early in the movie with a lot left, i realized i still had potential to get surprised and enjoy the rest. my mind was going back and forth on who to blame, and i enjoyed that aspect. cool ending, shifting to the cinematic perspective when itโ€™s the documentary recreation. some moments felt a little predictable, the watch, the glass piece , the lock, but overall iโ€™m not to mad at it. a modern thriller made for gen z. solid.
