yeah itβs a great horror scifi/paranoia thriller of sorts with an iconic ending and a stacked cast (jeff goldblum just has unbelievable swag) but i think the important thing is: everyone in 70s cinema was dripped the hell out. the trenchcoats. the suits. fab.

Cult of Personality 2024 (https://letterboxd.com/allbeef/list/cult-of-personality-2024/) #9 of 52 | Donald Sutherland (https://letterboxd.com/actor/donald-sutherland/) Iβve always found it tough to stay engaged while watching older movies (I know I know, Iβm a lame olβ Gen Z-er). This is an exception. The cast is great, the effects and makeup are disgusting, and the cinematography is a thrill to lay eyes upon. I felt the same feelings of terror and suspicion as the characters felt. Much like the original film, this feels a lot like an extended Twilight Zoneepisode. It may be a half hour too long, but boy is it fun. RIP Donald Sutherland
