For the longest time, I remember seeing the trailer for this movie, but I never got myself to watch it. That was until I finished watching Almost Famous on the airplane from Kona to Los Angeles. With an hour and 40 minutes left of my flight, I decided to watch Searching. I'm thrilled I did. It has a very unique way of telling the story. Its commitment to staying with some computer or television was consistently impressive. My only notable issue with Searching is how things connected too conveniently. Otherwise, I had a blast watching. 9/10.

É a segunda vez que vejo esse, a primeira foi em 2018, e já na época eu gostei. Esse aqui é a prova de que o campo da internet e das múltiplas telas é um local que o cinema não explorou 100% ainda. Se no ano de 1999 Bruxa de Blair conseguiu ser um marco no início do terror digital, Buscando é um dos que eleva essa tendência utilizando de set um setup de computador que vai desde o Windows XP a até o MacBook mais moderno da época. O grande trunfo desse é o suspense e o drama familiar que consegue transportar força e intensidade usando uma webcam ou até mesmo a tela de um celular com a rota do Waze em foco. Bom demais bicho!
