Vincent Price narrating a film about a kid who dreams to be Vincent Price, while done by Tim Burton is something I did not know I needed in my life. And here it is. A dream come true. A fantastic short from the always (or almost) fantastic director Tim Burton, showcasing his love for the macabre, as well as showing his distinct style. Just another great film from Burton.

βEvery horror in his life that had crept through his dreams, swept his mad laughter to terrified screams. To escape the madness he reached for the door, but fell limp and lifeless down on the floor. His voice was soft and very slow, as he quoted 'The Raven' from Edgar Allan Poe: "And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor / Shall be lifted - Nevermore!"β β± βββ . έβ βΉ . έ α―½ έ . βΉ β έ. βββ β° Vincent is a very cool short film that's just so quintessentially Tim Burton. It's dark, very strange, and has loads of cool references to some classic horror films and stories. I loved the contrast between Vincent trying to be like his idol and his mother interrupting to tell him to play outside instead. The stop-motion was very well-done, and as if things couldn't get any better, it's narrated by Vincent Price, who was absolutely perfect for this. Definitely worth watching if you're a fan of Burton's other work!
