Is it the worst film that I’ve seen this year? No, but it comes very close to being so. These Netflix teenage films honestly keep getting lower and lower in quality with every passing year, which is a shame, since they do produce some fantastic films, but there are so many duds like Tall Girl. I respect everyone involved in the making of this, but with a script as bad as it was, and first-time actors making up a lot of the film, Tall Girl was destined to fail. I can see why younger audiences may find it appealing, but I would rather watch another film, rather than one that shows the hardships of a young, white woman who happens to be over six feet tall.

❝When you're a tall girl, it's the only thing people see.❞ ⊱ ─── . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ᯽ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁. ─── ⊰ Tall Girl was the first thing I watched when we initally got Netflix. I don't know why I decided on it among the thousands of actually good content I could've chosen from, but suffice to say I didn't enjoy it in the least. On rewatch, it's still absolute trash; Steve Zahn is the only reason I got through this, and I honestly can't think of any other single redeeming quality of this film. It has a terrible premise, horrible acting, and cringe-inducing dialogue so bad I had to pause every few minutes to recover from second-hand embarrassment. I've learned my lesson, and I'm never watching this again.
