Fuck, you’ve come a long way. The French prison system isverydifferent from the United States’, at least in terms of the freedoms they give their prisoners. The gang subculture, and the violence though...not so much. It was fascinating seeing Malik navigate such a tense and volitile environment at such a young age. There were also some really haunting, creative shots that struck me throughout.
