Fyre

Fyre Festival was a phenomena I only knew as a joke. When I first heard the news of what was occurring, it seemed like a joke, rather than something that actually was a miserable failure. Fyre shows the events that led up to the disaster of a festival, as well as the shady dealings behind it all. This was a very interesting documentary, especially getting insight from the people who were working it, as well as those closest to Billy, getting to really understand the mind of the man who created this mess. This really is one of the biggest cons of the century, but it's actually a very interesting story that this documentary did a good job on telling. It's interesting to see that Hulu decided to release a documentary at the same time, and will be interesting to see how these two differ on content.

Man, that kid that destroys the tents around him is a real piece of shit. So is Billy McFarlane.

Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened is a notable documentary about an epic-fail party that shouldn't happen in the first place. The way the victims told their stories and how it has an impact on them is just too sad and baffling, especially for the Bahamians.
