Lost river es esteticamente pretenciosa y narrativamente tediosa,el trabajo de gosling para un melancolico cargue de emociones hace de Lost river una experiencia aburrida adornada de muchos colores.

Kudos for Ryan to take influences from Nicholas Winding Refn's body of work, however. this film is a bit shallow and lack the focus and grit that the themes and the topics of this film try to talk about. it's all bark no bite in this film which leads to an "NWR-Diet-Copycat" which is still fine we need more of those. Hell we need more films directed by Ryan Gosling. I wish he would return back to this path and try to hone in on this type of craft again really.

Come to think of it, Ryan needs to direct more films. Get Johnny Jewel on the line bruh. NWR is probably not gonna be doing this type of shit again.
