A story so heartbreaking, told over four excruciating episodes, When They See Us is essential viewing. I cannot praise this series enough, it was one of the hardest series to get through, but I am very glad that I did. Ava Duvernay has shown the world a different side of these men, offering a true glimpse into their worlds, and how the accusations affected them. It’s powerful storytelling, and I am left in awe.

Heartbreaking. Linda Fairstein and her team's actions are appalling as is the fact that cases of coercion and false confessions like this are commonplace, a sentiment, in a better way. I hope karma finally comes for Fairstein and all those involved with her, in trying to ruin these innocent men's lives. This cast is so talented, if in the next few months, filmmakers aren't forming a line to have Jharrel Jerome in their projects, then what are they doing???
