Period. End of Sentence is a strong documentary short, focusing on the creation of menstrual pads for a small village in India. We get to see a part of the world where female hygiene isn't as accepted as it is elsewhere, giving insight into their culture and religion. It's amazing that a group of people were able to create these machines, and create jobs for these women, giving them some independence with their job. Now that I have seen all of the documentary shorts, this one certainly is a strong short altogether, but left the least impact on me after finishing it. It's still a great documentary, but there definitely were some stronger ones that left lasting impressions this year. Nevertheless, Period. End of Sentence is an important documentary that everyone should watch, and now that it's available on Netflix more people can have the opportunity to watch it.
