Ballerina is one of Lynch's more odd shorts, a dialogue-less film featuring a dancer, brooding music, and some smoke effects. It's interesting seeing the bright red dress against a dark backdrop and that's it. Going in and out of focus was an interesting choice as well, but a choice that seemed odd for him. It's a pretty interesting short, but not one short that I would tell people to watch if they want to start Lynch's filmography.
