Octopussy

The second to last Moore plays Bond, this was one of his best. It has a good plot and Octopussy is a fantastic Bond girl. The villain is also good, but I’m not crazy about the Indian Jaws character. A great opening and ending, this one was great.

Unexpected entry in the calloused-world-ignorant-to-the-tribulations-and-desperations-of-circus-clowns cinema repertoire. Also contains this fantastic exchange during a chase sequence: Bond: Vijay, we've got company! Vijay: No problem, this is a company car! Ready for less of Moore. End of the tunnel in sight.

i can’t even lie i barely paid attention to this one. just so inexplicable. roger looks like a corpse at this point and the bond creative team is just so tired and worn by now. 20 years of basically the same writers, production team, etc??? dalton is a shot in the arm i’m excited for but you can really tell bond has jumped the shark
