Sempre que uma franquia tem várias sequências, sei que a qualidade é questionável, mas elas são sempre divertidas. E adoro ver a criatividade nesses filmes. Este tem uma qualidade questionável, assim como os três últimos da franquia, mas é MUITO ICÔNICO. Tem tanta coisa legal aqui que eu poderia fazer uma lista: 1. Matthew McConaughey está incrível como Vilmer; ele interpretou o papel tão bem. Senti muito ódio dele mas ele EXALOU tesão mas depois acabei sentindo nojo por causa do personagem isso sim. 2. Tonie Perensky como Darla, uma das personagens mais icônicas desta saga. Eu amei demais essa diva. Ela é debochada, é cômica, é engraçada e sensual. Eu simplesmente amei essa personagem. 3. O diálogo no carro entre os quatro protagonistas no início é muito bom. É uma espécie de retrato dos anos 90/80 de homens apavorando mulheres com mentiras sobre doenças para elas transarem com eles e mulheres tendo que ser burras pra serem aceitas. 4. Lisa Marie Newmeyer como Heather, desculpe outra simplesmente MARAVILHOSA. Heather também é uma personagem icônica, apesar de não ser loira ela carrega aquele estereótipo da loira burra, a "vadia", como ela mesma se autodenomina no filme, mas ela meio que foge disso porque ela luta com tanta força que eu senti muita pena dela. 5. Simplesmente O LEATHERFACE MARAVILHOSO como drag queen, todo maquiado e com batom vermelho, chiquerrimo no AUGE DA SUA BELEZA. Achei que entregou cunt. 6. Muito se fala sobre Sally ser a melhor "final girl" desta franquia, e ela é, mas a diva Jenny existe e precisa ser lembrada porque ela barbarizou demais, incrivelmente forte e muito carismática. Torci por ela com toda garra. 7. Achei aquele último olhar entre as duas sobreviventes maravilhoso, quando Marilyn Burns retorna como a Sally, passa na maca e olha para Jenny é absolute cinema. Tipo? Elas são as duas sobreviventes mais fodásticas da saga e se OLHANDO. Nossa, eu amei esse filme. 8. E também tem a roupa icônica que deram para a Jenny, e ela sobreviveu e escapou usando. 9. O filme tem uma das capas mais bonitas e cunt da franquia. Entregaram tudo aqui. Enfim, filme icônico! Apesar de alguns problemas técnicos, é muito divertido. Aborda temas interessantes e tem cenas que não vou esquecer. Aquela cena longa deles na casa com a Jenny é ótima, a loucura toda. Adorei.

"What the hell is going on around here" What in the actual world did I just watch. At first this was great I really enjoyed it then when the sawyer family was introduced the whole film flipped completely. Some weird like government dude was helping the sawyers?!?!? Leatherface was fine then he turned into a screaming baby dressed as a female later?!?! What in the world just happened. Matthew McConaughey was great though lol. Also this is unironically the 2nd movie ive ever watched with him in it. I also liked Jenny she was an ok final girl. Heather was fine too. That ending was weird. Turns out the ending is Sally at the hospital!?!?!?!?! There was like no gore or horror in this. I am so confused I would've said I enjoyed this if it didn't flip in the third act. I watched the next generation title card version of this btw. I have high hopes for the 2003 reboot since it's one of the most popular films in this franchise besides the original.

It’s kinda fun to see McConaughey and Zellwegger starring in such dreck. I actually kinda like what they’ve got going on with Leatherface here, and it’s nice to see an entry in the TCM canon that doesn’t just pour gallons of blood over everything. But it’s just not a good movie.
