Werner Herzog demands underlings chew their fingers off while Tom Cruise elbows/shoots/philosophizes his way through all the red tape holding dads back. That one fight in the bathroom was an amazing moment of close-quarters slapstick, though.

80/100 Rosamund Pike is one of the most gorgeous women alive. I hate it when people hate on a movie just because the actor playing the character doesn’t match the book description. That’s why I hate book fans, fucking clowns all of em. Movies are different and y’all aren’t equipped to understand it. I’m one of the few people who watched this movie after the show. I really liked the show and I must admit as much as I love Tom Cruise, he’s no Alan Ritchson but he’s pretty good, he’s got all the mannerisms and action sequences spot on and he’s a bloody good actor so that helps. And all Reacher wants is - “I’m just a guy who wants to be left alone.” Same Reacher same. Even in the show, that’s all he wants. Overall, a really good movie, constantly engaging and a solid murder mystery. Also it’s got some lots of iconic sequences. And I would not be surprised if Tom Cruise learned how to snipe for this film.

I know I’m in the minority, but for my money this is the best Cruise/McQuarrie collaboration. Very effective and chilling opening sequence. Herzog as the villain is perfect, get him in more stuff!

El plato fuerte de este tipo de películas siempre sera ver a Tom Cruise tomar las riendas de un par de escenas de acción bien filmadas sin preguntas contundentes hacia su flácida escritura, Herzong seria un villano perfecto para James Bond el problema es que Jack Reacher esta lejos de estar a esa altura por lo que abra que conformarse con una irregular película que en medida funciona pero no recordaras al final de cuentas.
