What a depressing, dark and horrific film. Robin Williams is incredible in this and the lighting is amazing. I'm not sure how someone thinks to make a movie like this but it works From my understanding, Sy was sexually abused as a child and suffered that trauma into adulthood. Without an understanding for social norms and a skewed perspective on reality - he stalks a family, yearning to be a part of it. Obviously this is dark on it's own but it gets sadder and darker throughout

Beautifully shot. Williams is so obviously creepy from the get that it ruins some of the idea of a descent into madness. But I suppose some of that is the point.
