Um casal de detetives particulares se responsabiliza em encontrar um jovem e juntos vão a uma casa abandonada e lá encontram várias fitas de VHS com gravações bem diferentes. Sendo uma sequência do primeiro filme apenas em temática. Esse longa supera o primeiro uma vez que tem um fio narrativo que conecta melhor as histórias isoladas da trama principal que, apesar de ser tão simples quanto a do primeiro filme, aqui é algo que você se envolve mais e se importa. Diferente do primeiro longa que possuía um Q de amadorismo mais evidente, esse aqui já possui idéias que foram melhores maturadas e com conceitos e um fio narrativo que, além de serem envolventes, em sua maioria, são agradáveis e facilmente acompanhados. Com foco no curta "Safe Heaven" aqui vemos a evolução da criação de tensão e uma história que é tão absurda, como surtada e muito tensa do começo ao fim. V/H/S 2 é uma sequência que supera o original em todos os quesitos e possui uma gama de menores histórias em todos os sentidos.

Safe Haven will be iconic and rent free in my mind, as a fellow Indonesian i'm really proud they can producing like this (i bet this movie not have theaterical release in Indonesia), Epy Kusnandar sir i didn't know you can act like that? Ate i think, as far this is the most unsettling segment. A Ride In The Park is so refreshing, like it's generic zombie, but i don't know it makes me seating on the edge while watching it, little bit comedy too in this, but damn so gory and exclipit. Only this two out of four segments that i like in this second Installment for V/H/S Series, i don't know i can watching another series or not.

V/H/S/2 manages to up the ante when compared to the first film, delivering some absolutely fun and campy additions to the series. Each short held its own, managing to create captivating stories without overstaying their welcome. Just as others have stated, Safe Havenis the highlight of the film - I’d love to just sit down and watch it over and over again, since it has such a grasp on tension building and delivering a wild conclusion. I had so much fun with this installation of the series, and though I know the next film isn’t regarded as a good film within the franchise (or at all from what I’ve gathered), I’m still excited to see what else is to come.
