A Different Man
A Different Man has become one of my favorite films this year. The humor is sharp and smart, and the script keeps throwing surprises at you. The cinematography and editing have this quirky vibe at first, they feel kind of off, but then they start to click and draw you in. Schimberg’s writing is darkly funny and has real depth, not just that shallow satire you see a lot. The framing and set design are super cool, almost like the vibe of a house can reflect our darker sides. With spot-on editing and mood-setting music, the movie does a great job of showing the harmful effects of self-hatred.

very interesting and unique concept, but i found the movie to be a bit boring and the ending was mundane. great acting though!

In the end of the day we all need The Substance and then regret it after all. I should not talk a lot about this movie, but this movie just wow to me, the stressed that Edward / Guy feels to Osweld is making me upset too, like you want this but you want to back again, you regret it. The moral of the story is just be yourself, boost up your confidence.
