The Slumber Party Massacre

Beat for beat along the bloody spiral, better on the second go-round. In the dime a dozen world of 80's slashers this one's at least six dollars, think I'll order a pizza

The Slumber Party Massacre

The Slumber Party Massacre offers camp galore, chock filled with cheesy acting, bad effects, and a terrible killer, which makes it all the more fun to watch. Teenage slashers always are a favorite, and The Slumber Party Massacre is one of the strongest that I have seen. I loved every second of this, and would love to own a copy of it eventually, since it really was a fun film to watch.

The Slumber Party Massacre

I was expecting this to be pretty bad and dumb like most 80's horrors but I actually enjoyed this. For a horror film it feels very reminiscent of the original Halloween. Despite the killer I was getting massive Michael Myers vibes this whole time. The characters are the basic horror girls but they were fine. I find it funny how the killer is literally just a guy. Like no backstory or motive he's just a guy. The kills in this looked ten times better than I was expecting. There was some pretty solid ones in this. The drill weapon is also a cool weapon. Pretty unique. It did honestly feel more funny than anything. I always hate on the original Carrie for the locker room scene. But this has like ten times more than that lmao. It was not needed whatsoever. This honestly just felt like a Halloween ripoff imo and the original Halloween is peak so it makes sense why I enjoyed this. Overall a solid and fun enjoyable 80's horror movie.

The Slumber Party Massacre

pretty decent slasher. had a complex history but its feminist origins definitely show through in some places.
